Review and prepare Process flow diagram and HMB (Heat and material balance)
Review and own P&ID.
Line sizing for liquid, Gases and Steam.
Pump Hydraulics, line hydraulics and pressure drop calculations.
Sizing and selection of pressure safety valves, control valves etc
Preparation of Line List, Equipment list, etc.
Preparation of Process datasheet for pumps, blowers, process equipment, valves etc.
Providing Instrument Process data for Instruments, Control Valves, On-Off valves, shut down valves, Safety valves, Pressure regulator etc.
Knowledge of International codes and standards like API, ASME, Shell DEP
Knowledge of process simulators like Aspen/ HYSYS, Promax etc.
MR preparation for process internals for RO, Media, Columns, filters etc.
Technical bid evaluation for Process bought out items like Equipment and internals, pressure safety valves and other Instruments, strainers, blowers, pumps, filter media, speciality items etc.
Preparation of control narrative/ philosophy, O&M manual, Cause & effect etc.
Preparation of documents like process description, process guarantees etc
Participation and driving HAZOP & LOPA.
Participate in 3D Model review, layout reviews, design reviews, and technical workshops

Required Qualifications and Skills

Education: Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering.
Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in Process Engineering
