The Lab Operations and Workflow Coordinator will play a critical role in managing laboratory readiness, instrumentation, workflow alignment, and cross-functional coordination to support impactful customer demonstrations and internal technical activities.Key Responsibilities:Ensure end-to-end coordination of lab readiness, including instrument setup, workflow execution, and materials planning for customer-facing and internal projects.Drive cross-functional collaboration with applications, sales, service, and quality teams to align lab operations with business priorities.Oversee technical instrumentation, ensuring proper calibration, validation, and performance monitoring for optimal results.Manage equipment maintenance schedules, coordinate with service teams, and ensure minimal downtime.Maintain a safe, compliant, and audit-ready lab environment, adhering to Thermo Fisher Scientific’s EHS, ISO, and other regulatory standards.Support workflow optimization by identifying process gaps and driving continuous improvement initiatives.Document lab activities including SOPs, maintenance logs, and workflow validations.Serve as the point of contact for lab operational needs during key customer visits, demos, and technical validations.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or a related technical field.Minimum of 7 years of relevant laboratory experience, preferably in a customer-facing, application, or demo lab setting.Strong understanding of laboratory instrumentation and workflows in a regulated or technical environment.Proven ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Preferred Qualifications:Hands-on experience with Thermo Fisher Scientific instruments (e.g., LC-MS, IC, PCR, Cell Analysis, or other core technologies).Familiarity with quality systems and compliance frameworks (ISO, GLP/GMP, etc.).Experience in customer-centric environments such as demonstration labs, technical centers, or application development roles.Benefits:At Thermo Fisher Scientific, we offer comprehensive benefits including a competitive salary, performance-based incentives, health and wellness programs, and the opportunity to grow and develop your career in a global organization that values innovation, collaboration, and integrity
