Catia Sheet Metal Engineers

• Create detail designs in 3D & 2D for sheet metal, welded and bolted structures using Catia V5/6 tool.
• Create and modify complex assemblies and components.
• Perform reviews to ensure quality of deliverables
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure accuracy of all designs.
• Collaborate with design originators to resolve discrepancies between original drawings and final CAD designs.
• Perform geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
• Plan deliverables and maintain clear communication with project Lead & stakeholders
• Participate in design optimization and cost reduction initiatives.
• Interface with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are manufacturable.

• PREFERRED SKILLS / Experience
• 7-10 Years’ experience
• Proficiency in Catia sheet metal is highly required and NX sheet metal is the added advantages
• Detail design of sheet metal components (Modelling & Detailing)
• Preferable domain experience: Wind turbine, 3D modeling, drawing creation, review, release, specifications, documentation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with PLM tools like Windchill
• Exposure to International engineering standards on safety & mechanical design
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
