The Financial Data Analytics Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial data analysis team and managing the interpretation, analysis, and reporting of financial data. The individual will work closely with senior leadership to drive data-driven decision-making processes and deliver actionable insights that enhance financial performance. This role involves leading financial forecasting, reporting, and strategic planning using advanced analytics tools.Key ResponsibilitiesData Analysis & Reporting:
- Develop and manage financial models and forecasts.
- Generate regular and ad-hoc financial reports to support business decisions.
- Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities in financial data.
- Lead and mentor a team of data analysts, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Foster a data-driven culture within the finance team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver business insights.
- Support senior leadership with financial insights for strategic decision-making.
- Work on budget planning, financial forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Analyze revenue streams, cost structures, and profitability drivers.
- Manage financial data infrastructure, ensuring data quality, accuracy, and integrity.
- Utilize tools like SQL, Excel, Tableau, Power BI, and other analytics platforms.
- Oversee the integration of new data tools and systems to improve analytics capabilities.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Assist in identifying financial risks and opportunities.
- Contributes to short-term operational plans.
- Anticipates and adapts to plan changes.
- Monitors progress of work against plan as required to meet objectives.
- Reports variances and makes agreed-upon corrections.
- Under guidance, develops tactical plan for own direct responsibility.
- Seeks discrepancies and inconsistencies in available information; explains variances.
- Organizes and prioritizes the sequence of steps to be taken to remedy the situation.

- Minimum 5 -7 years of experience in financial analysis or data analytics roles.
- Prior experience managing a team of analysts.
- Strong experience with financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modelling.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
- Familiarity with ERP and financial software (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience in a fast-paced or high-growth company.
- Knowledge of machine learning or AI in financial analytics.
