Job Summary :- Deliver high quality advisory services on FX markets to clients, helping them manage FX risk.- Analyse the business and risk profile of corporate clients and articulate strategies for managing their FX risk; use this understanding to provide recommendations and support of the client's risk management team.- Client-facing involving considerable interaction with each client's treasury team, CFO and other stake holders. Selling our services :- Client acquisition requires in-depth understanding of market risk and its implication on business cash flows and profitability, and, of course, high intensity communication and follow-up.- Undertake cross-selling of all our services, including Advisory Support, Risk Management Policy formulation, Policy review, Online MIS service, Mecklai Risk Manager (MRM, a treasury tech solution), Trade Finance services, Currency futures, Derivative Valuation and Hedge Accounting, etc. Regional development :- Work closely with our Bangalore and Chennai branches to expand South India by acquiring new clients, and upgrading our existing relations by delivering higher-end services. It will require frequent travel to the region to meet the team, existing clients and prospects.Duties and Responsibilities :- You will need to track financial markets (primarily FX but also allied markets, like commodities, equities, etc.) and develop currency views and strategies for both short and long tenors for USDINR and all other major currencies- Translate these views to actionable hedging/trading strategies, customized to specific client requirements- Drive and close sales of services offered by Mecklai from self-generated leads. As required, your reporting manager will provide support in this.- Call clients regularly as per agreed charter (daily, fortnightly, monthly, etc.) and build the relationship to where you become their extended market risk support partner.- End-To-End responsibility for clients, including invoicing, renewal of accounts, finding ways to increase fees, and steadily enhancing the quality of service delivery- Participate in and provide inputs for internal training sessions for knowledge sharing with the team.Skills and Qualifications Required- MBA in Finance/CFA/FRM.- Minimum 5 to 12 years of experience.- Strong relationship skills; ability to build sustainable bridges with clients; ability to manage currently small staff in South India (3 people) and to recruit and manage more staff as the business grows- Practical domain expertise in currency markets; knowledge of financial products like forwards, options, swaps, etc.- Ability to focus on and understand each client's business looking at several issues, including, sales cycles, pricing issues, working capital constraints, business margins, etc.- Thorough knowledge of fundamental and technical analysis.- Complete ease with regular-use programs like Microsoft Excel, Word, Google spreadsheets, etc.- Strong communication (written/oral) skills.- Enthusiasm about working with internal teams (ref:updazz.com)
