Job Description:OverviewWe are looking for a GoLive Training Specialist who has excellent knowledge of the Avalara customer onboarding process to join the GoLive team. As a Training Specialist you will be comfortable answering process and procedure related queries, have a strong knowledge of the onboarding process, and have experience with Avalara’s products. You will lead training of new hires and support ongoing training to help GoLive team members be successful in their roles. On a day-to day basis the role is responsible for delivering and maintaining training content, tracking progress of learners through training, and working closely with GoLive leaders to provide updates and suggestions for improvement.Job Duties:
  • Ensure that training is prioritized within the team and designed and delivered to meet operational needs.
  • Provide ongoing training support as learners grow in their role and graduate to more technical or complex topics.
  • Contribute to the L&D strategy, supporting the build and ongoing delivery training frameworks.
  • Be a point of contact and support for all technical queries related to training or those requiring additional support.
  • Undertake training quality assurance work with a view to identify future development needs and using these results to help drive relevant actions in respect of training and development across GoLive.
QualificationsEssential knowledge, skills and abilities:
  • 1+ years of GoLive or related experience.
  • Ability to pivot and adapt to change and have the required skill to quickly translate knowledge into written and verbal practical guidance for your audience.
  • The ability to stay up to date with the changing processes and regulations both inside and outside of the business.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A high degree of organizational and project management skills.
Desirable knowledge, skills, and abilities:
  • Experience of designing training sessions
  • Experience of delivering training sessions
  • Holds a recognized training qualification
  • Experience of using Learning Management Systems
