Reporting to the Head of Change Strategy and Business Strategy, the Director, Change Management Practice Lead in India will build out our Change Management practice, lead the community and provide pastoral care. Will be responsible for overseeing and optimising the Change Management Practice to ensure successful project execution and continuous improvement of project management practices. The role requires strong alignment and collaboration with all the Technology divisions, Business Management teams as well as Transformation Management Office and Finance. Key Responsibilities Leadership and Team Management Lead, mentor and manage a team of PMO specialists, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities. Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous learning. Define clear roles and responsibilities, establish performance expectations, and conduct regular performance evaluations. Manage work allocation across the team, ensuring that activities are balanced and contingency plans are in place for both short notice and planned team absences. Practice Development Develop and implement strategic roadmap for the Change Management practice. Identify and prioritise key initiatives to improve capabilities, methodologies, and tools. Keep abreast of industry trends, new technologies and best practices in project governance and control and integrate them into the practice's strategies and methodologies. Methodologies and Processes Enforce standardised PMO methodologies, frameworks, and processes to ensure consistency and quality of deliverables. Drive the adoption of standard methodologies, tools, and techniques to improve efficiency and effectiveness in PMO activities. Personal Skills And Capabilities Ability to convey complex ideas and information in a compelling way that will engage and motivate partners. Ability to work collaboratively, with tact and diplomacy and the ability to understand the needs of a diverse organisation. Strong influencing skills with the ability to elicit collaboration from senior management and other key stakeholders to move toward a common vision or goal and impact change outside reporting lines. Resilient in the face of competing demands and conflicts Leadership And Management Experience Experience in managing and leading teams, both directly and in matrixed environments Experience in a senior leadership role, preferably global Self-leadership and motivation in pursuit of stretching targets and delivery requirements. Technical / Job Functional Knowledge Experience in portfolio management and programme execution at a large scale, complex and global Track record in managing large scale transformation. Robust analytical and quantitative skills, as well as attention to detail Demonstrated competency with implementing business processes and activity-based metrics involving leading success indicators.
