We are 60 Year Old Family Managed SME Industrial Distributor specialising in Sale of Spinning Accessories Head quartered in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Head of Sales (Textile Spinning Accessories) to lead our sales division across South India. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned sales leader with a deep understanding of the spinning mill industry and a proven track record of exceeding ambitious sales targets. This strategic role involves managing the entire sales lifecycle, leading a high-performing team, and taking full ownership of the division's Profit & Loss (P&L). You will be the driving force behind our growth, leveraging your extensive network and industry expertise to expand our market share and introduce new products.Key Responsibilities:Sales & Business Development:- Develop and execute aggressive sales strategies to achieve and surpass annual sales targets in excess of - 40 Crores.- Leverage an extensive personal network of decision-makers within spinning mills across South India to drive business.- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities, and forge strong, long-lasting client relationships.Leadership & Team Management:- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of success and accountability.- Develop and implement strategies for business expansion, including the successful addition of new products to the portfolio.Operational & Financial Management:- Take complete ownership of the P&L for the Textile Accessories division, demonstrating strong financial acumen and strategic planning.- Utilize a thorough knowledge of spinning mill operations to provide expert consultation and solutions to clients.Field Engagement:- Act as a "feet-on-the-street" leader, with the ability and willingness to travel extensively (15+ days per month) to engage with clients and support the sales team.Compensation:- Best in the Industry. This will be a combination of fixed and variable pay, commensurate with experience and performance.Desired Candidate Profile:- Experience: A minimum of 15 years of experience in a senior sales role, specifically selling textile accessories or capital equipment to spinning mills in South India.- Network: Must possess extensive, high-level personal contacts with key decision-makers (Promoters, Directors, and senior management) in spinning mills throughout the region.- Track Record: Demonstrable success in managing an annual sales turnover of over - 30 Crores.- Technical Expertise: Thorough, practical knowledge of spinning mill operations.
