Title: Senior Project Manager, Branded Research CoEAbout the role:You would be part of a Branded Research Center of Excellence with Research Architecture & Methodologies group. You will support creation of branded research documents research (like its Magic Quadrant, Critical Capabilities). The CoE will also identify and introduce process innovation and best practices for the research it performs and will help develop new research methods. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing complex projects related to MQ-CC from initiation to completion. You will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects, coordinating cross-functional teams, and achieving strategic objectives. This is a hands-on position that requires exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills.What you will do:Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of assigned projects, ensuring adherence to quality standards, timelines, and budget constraints.Define project scope, goals, and deliverables, and develop detailed work plans and schedules.Collaborate with analysts to optimize project management of Gartner’s branded research documents within scheduled timelines.With a constant lookout for improvement- identify process, guidance, documentation that could evolve – and help research and advisory teams increase branded research quality and client engagement of branded research content.Serve as a point of contact for project-related inquiries, providing guidance and support to team members and stakeholders.Consistently look for process and technology optimization to support project management and reporting.Implementation of team initiatives related to knowledge development and improvement in productivity, metrics & new- hire productivity.Strong analytical and reasoning skills – Ability to pinpoint key information from large datasetsSupport the Team Manager to coach, facilitate, solve work problems, address people-related issues, and be actively involved in the day-to-day activities of the teamDevelop strong process knowledge and support your manager in identifying areas for constant optimization and scale for growthTimely delivery of quality deliverablesWhat you will need:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management or related field; Master’s degree preferred.6 - 8 years of experience in the research / content industry in a project management / center of excellence or similar environment as part of a global corporation.Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools (eg Microsoft Project, excel, Jira)PMP and PRINCE2 or other relevant certification preferred.Experience in managing multiple senior stakeholders across geographies.Well-versed in the use of Microsoft Office tools, specifically Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPointExcellent writing and verbal communication skills and project management background will be essentialReal-life experience in driving to consensus, moving forward, and getting things done amongst large, global, and diverse groups of constituentsStrong experience in mentoring and training junior staffProven ability to solve problems and bring timely resolution to on-going issuesAbility to absorb and parse quickly large amounts of information from various sourcesAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite#LI-AK4Who are we?At Gartner, Inc.
