Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for embedded firmware and hardware systems.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, and system-level testing of embedded hardware and firmware.
- Conduct hands-on testing using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters, signal generators, etc.
- Interface with embedded development teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
- Document and report bugs clearly and work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
- Automate tests where possible using scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
- Perform board bring-up testing and validation of new hardware platforms.
- Validate power consumption, signal integrity, and other hardware-specific parameters.
- Maintain test benches, fixtures, and debug environments.
