In this role you will be reporting to R&D Team Lead and will be responsible for contributing to ABB's success with technology, software, product, and/or system development. Identifying and implementing innovative solutions to relevant problems. Providing ideas and is able to work both independently and as a part of a Research and Development (R&D) team.Your responsibilities

Demonstrating good proficiency in software testing / QA in their own area of competence
Contributing to the software development lifecycle covering requirements, test case preparation, QA / testing, release as well as subsequent maintenance and operations
Ensuring software QA / testing is carried out in compliance with ABB standards, processes, guidelines and cybersecurity requirements
Collaborating between self-organizing cross-functional teams to deliver on agreed software engineering objectives
Guiding and offers assistance to more junior test engineers and actively seeking guidance from team leads and managers
Delivering user-friendly and quality software by improving and adapting through continuous solutions delivery with active feedback from customers and stakeholders

Your background

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
Require 3 to 5 years of experience switchgear configuration and domain knowledge
Good to have software quality assurance, data analytics, software testing and QA lifecycle management (SDLC)
Good knowledge in MS Excel & Word, proficient and working knowledge on EPlan is added advantage
A strong focus on safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines
A collaborative, solution-focused approach, and strong written and spoken communication skills
