Trade Marketing & Distribution (TM&D) Analyst

• The TM&D Analyst provides end-to-end analytical, operational, and governance support across the Trade Marketing & Distribution systems landscape.
• The role ensures TM&D platforms operate effectively, compliantly, and in line with BAT standards, while enabling data-driven decision-making through high-quality analytics and well-defined processes.
• The analyst acts as a key support partner for system operations, compliance, business case development, and continuous improvement initiatives

• Provide day-to-day operational support for TM&D systems, ensuring stability, usability, and adherence to defined service levels.
• Support issue triage, coordination with technology partners, and resolution tracking across the TM&D solution landscape.
• Act as a dependable first line of support for business users, ensuring consistent and efficient system usage.

• Ensure all TM&D systems and changes operate in compliance with BAT standards and technology governance requirements.
• Prepare, submit, and track compliance requests (AURA), supporting impact assessments, documentation, and approvals.
• Maintain integrity across the TM&D solution landscape by supporting audit readiness and control adherence.
• Support/ provide input into the preparation of business cases for planned system rollouts and enhancements, including value articulation, cost considerations, and benefit tracking.
• Assist with rollout planning, readiness assessments, and post-implementation reviews to ensure expected outcomes are delivered.

• Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards to support TM&D performance monitoring and decision-making.
• Work confidently with semantic models, ensuring dashboards are scalable, accurate, and aligned to data governance principles.
• Translate business questions into clear analytical outputs, demonstrating strong understanding and appreciation of data and analytics.

• Participate actively in TM&D process definition, mapping, and documentation activities.
• Support the identification of process inefficiencies and opportunities for simplification, standardisation, and automation.
• Produce clear, structured documentation to support adoption, training, and ongoing operations.

• Experience supporting business or trade systems in a global or multi-market environment.
• Strong analytical capability with hands-on experience using Power BI, including dashboard development from semantic models.
• Good understanding of system governance, compliance, and change management concepts.
• Proven ability in process mapping and documentation.
• Highly results-oriented, proactive, and self-driven, with the ability to work effectively in a remote setup.

• Prior exposure to TM&D, route-to-market, or commercial execution systems.
• Experience supporting business case development or system rollout initiatives.
• Familiarity with data governance, data quality management, and enterprise analytics environments.

• Self-motivated and accountable, with strong ownership mindset.
• Comfortable working across time zones and with diverse global stakeholders.
