Scope of Position
Sr Manager, Chemical Laboratory for SGD Pharma India Operations. Ensure the Chemical Lab
operations as per Good Laboratory Practices and all the tests carried as per SOPs, Takes the lead in
handling new projects, designing SOPs & procuring the new equipments on need basis, developing
people & team working culture. Plans the budget and adhere. Fully comply to Quality Management
Systems that are designed and executed for compliance to ISO 9001, 14001, and 15378 as well as
customer requirements and expectations. .
Collaborate with other relevant departments & R&D at France within the organization and build
practices that takes care of new customer’s requirements & business development.
Position reports to Plant Quality HeadGeneral Requirements:
Autonomy and capacity to take initiatives
Experienced in analytical chemistry. Ph. D is a plus.
Hands-on experience in lab management
Rigorous and organized
Good communication level in general, especially in English
Knowledge in glass and/or PharmaDay to Day Responsibilities:
Accountable for reporting and closing of EHS incidents, accidents, unsafe action/s, unsafe condition/s
& Near misses; Actively participate in incident investigation & root cause analysis, mock drills and
responsible for maintaining HSE dash boards and time to time review and updation of HIRA and A&I
exercises.
Build an influential and effective network and communication with NPD team, Sales team in order to
ensure alignment with new product development requirements. Takes the support of R&D on the
need basis.
Prepare, review and amend the master QC plan for Raw Material, Finish Product and Packing
Material on the need basis & takes the responsibility for implementation of QC plan.
