Siemens offers a broad portfolio of grid control and automation; low- and medium-voltage power distribution, switching and control; and building automation, fire safety and security, HVAC control and energy solutions.Roles and Responsibilities :Responsible for factory direct procurement , scaling efficiently to address the expanding business and supporting various cross functional teams / segment HQ.Identify & manage procurement risks, opportunities, delivery performance, potential changes.Initiate & drive different cost reduction initiatives & related implementation in alignment with cross functional team.Ensure resilience supply chain and further develop supply base by inducting good potential supplier with sustainable procurement activitiesEngage in and utilize a global procurement network of commodity managers / segment HQ /Local country commodity managers with the implementation of best practice or benchmarked processes.Ensure an industry leading sourcing process, incl. control of the spend and ensuring purchase-to-pay compliance.Monitor & act upon supply market conditions to increase CNI ( Contribution to Net Income ) through Negotiations, and work upon the other KPI'sPrerequisitesBachelor's degree (with 8-10 Years experience) /Diploma (15+ experience) in engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, or related fieldExperience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain, preferably in: SwitchgearTechnical knowledge of Sheet metal components, Plastic resin & plastic parts, Copper coil, & machined components., Enameled Copper Wires,FastnersProduct Procurement & Strategic Sourcing, Costing, Should-Costing & Commercial Analysis,Negotiation, Contracting & Strong exposure to bid management.Localization & Supplier Development, Risk Management & Capacity PlanningStrong analytical and problem-solving skills & ability to work under tight deadlines and multitaskingExcellent stakeholder communication and coordination with result driven mindsetDirect impact on project profitability and bid success and enables localization and cost competitiveness in key marketsGood knowledge & hands on experience in different SCM tools like, SCM Core, CORA, PUMA, E auctions and bids, SAP, etc.This role is based in Aurangabad, where you'll get the chance to work with teams impacting entire cities, countries - and the shape of things to come.Make your mark in our exciting world of SiemensWe're Siemens.
