We are looking for a video editor who will own the entire lifecycle of our video content, from picking up the camera to the final colour grade, ensuring we stay ahead of trends and algorithm shifts.Key Responsibilities- Handle all on-site filming, lighting, and audio setup using our dedicated mobile production kit.- Edit high-energy, social-first videos (Reels, Shorts, LinkedIn Video) with a focus on hooks, fast cuts, and engaging captions.- Execute "topical" content (news-jacking or trends) within a <24-hour window.- Maintain our internal library of raw footage and b-roll to ensure we never have to rely on external departments for assets.- Ensuring all video output feels premium, polished, and aligned with the brand's visual identity.- Ideate new concepts and formats for a diverse audience.Qualifications:- 2+ years in video production or video editing at a high-growth startup/agency.- A proven track record of creating short-form vertical video that actually moves (high retention and shares).- Mastery of Adobe Premiere Pro/After Effects, etc.- Deep understanding of 'Retention Editing', knowing exactly when to zoom, cut, or add a sound effect to keep a viewer from scrolling.- Proficiency in Sound Design. You understand that bad audio kills a good video faster than bad lighting.- A deep understanding of mobile cinematography, making an iPhone look like a cinema camera.- Highly organized, comfortable with project management tools, and have a "zero-missed-deadlines" philosophy.
