In this role, responsibility would be to ensure finished goods stock is deployed to destination warehouses / Affiliate warehouse / Affiliate Customers/ Export Customers. Stock must be dispatched once available to meet the needs of Affiliate / Customer orders, S&OP shipment plan/Case Fill Rate% as required. Prioritize receipt of finished goods stock from Factories, Affiliate and Co-packers, ensuring that delivery is scheduled to support Case Fill Rate% requirements.Responsibilities
- Being up-to-date with new Brexit regulations. Manage internal and external communication channels with WHs, carriers, EXIM Brokers etc.
- Communicate with stakeholders regarding order tracker for giving visibility to all stakeholders regarding order status, file export and import custom clearance. Prepare documentations for sanitary inspections and co-ordinate with carrier and brokers for scheduling inspections
- Act as main point of communication between Carrier, Control Tower, EXIM broker, other logistics import export specialists, guaranteeing required service level and no supply disruptions.
- Prepare and analyse key reports with export KPIs
- Knowledge sharing: Assess Brexit activities being conducted by the logistics import export specialists from UK to EU and make sure best practices are shared and one single process is followed.
- Document processes to be followed by all EU countries considering each country particularity
- Coordinate with stakeholders to gather necessary data for upcoming changes & Identify improvement area
- Check improvements required for avoiding similar mistakes incidence.
- Take ownership of all Brexit-related activities, from ideation to implementation
- Entry of Data into Excel
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree
- Experience in Supply Chain Management, preferably in logistics or Transportation related positions
- End user knowledge in SAP MM & SD, SRM preferred
- Must be familiar with Incoterms and other standards with the Export/Import Industry
- Import-export specialist must have a strong understanding of business, trading practices and laws, mathematics and great communication skills as they work with clients from many different countries and cultures on a daily basis.
- Excellent analytical and execution skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong sense of customer service and analytic skills
- Self-starter, able to accomplish tasks independently, can-do attitude.
- Capable of working under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Advanced excel knowledge preferred
- Ability to learn new systems quickly and leverage systems and information to influence others
