Job Description: TrichologistLocation: Mumbai - Bandra WestAbout the Role:We are seeking a motivated and experienced Trichologist to join our growing team. The role involves consulting and diagnosing hair and scalp disorders, creating personalized treatment plans, and educating patients on proper hair care. The ideal candidate will be compassionate, patient-focused, and committed to continuous learning.Key Responsibilities:- Conduct detailed consultations and hair/scalp examinations using diagnostic tools such as trichoscopy, pull tests, and microscopic analysis.- Diagnose and manage conditions like hair loss, dandruff, scalp psoriasis, and other dermatological concerns.- Develop and implement customized treatment plans, including medications, topical therapies, nutritional guidance, and advanced procedures.- Administer or recommend treatments such as mesotherapy, PRP therapy, laser therapy, and hair restoration procedures.- Educate patients on effective hair care practices and monitor treatment progress.- Collaborate with Hair Transplant Surgeons and Counselors for holistic patient care.- Assist during hair transplant procedures and patient monitoring when required.- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with ethical and professional standards.- Stay updated with the latest advancements in trichology and contribute to marketing and outreach initiatives.Qualifications:- MD/DVD/DNB in Dermatology with a valid Maharashtra Medical Council Registration (Trichology certification preferred).- 1- 5 years of experience as a Trichologist.- Proficiency in diagnostic tools such as Trichoscope and hair analysis.- Strong understanding of hair biology, scalp physiology, and related pathologies.- Hands-on knowledge of trichological diagnostic tests and treatment modalities.- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient care skills.- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.- Interest in hands-on training for hair transplant procedures.
