This role is ideal for a Java Open Telemetry Developer with expertise in developing and implementing telemetry solutions to ensure seamless application performance monitoring. The position is based in Chennai and offers an excellent opportunity to work in the technology industry.Stay updated with the latest advancements in Java and telemetry technologies.ยท Support development teams with OpenTelemetry instrumentation of application code, both zero-code and manual approaches.Assist in configuring observability analytical backends, such as Datadog, Dynatrace, or Grafana.Guide teams in the instrumentation of infrastructure for observability.Support the integration of observability backends (DataDog, Dynatrace, Grafana, etc.) with external systems such as Jira, ServiceNow, PagerDuty, and similar platforms.Assist teams in defining Service Level Indicators (SLIs) and configuring Service Level Objectives (SLOs).Collaborate with the Application Observability Platform team to maintain the 24/7/365 availability and reliability of the OpenTelemetry infrastructure.Exciting and Challenging Opportunity with Global Capability Centre in ChennaiObservability Integration Engineer is responsible for supporting product teamsStrong proficiency in OpenTelemetry, including hands-on experience with OTLP protocol, OpenTelemetry Semantic Conventions, OpenTelemetry Collector, and OpenTelemetry Java Agent.Practical ability to instrument Java code using the OpenTelemetry API and OpenTelemetry Java SDK.Basic understanding of AWS services and their role in modern application deployment.Basic Linux knowledge, including common commands and day-to-day troubleshooting.At least 7 year of development experience in Java (Python experience is also acceptable).Hands-on experience working with observability analytical backends such as DataDog, Dynatrace, or Grafana.Good years of experience working with container technologies (e.g., Docker).Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with development teams and other stakeholders.Basic understanding of software architecture principles, including the differences between monolithic and microservices architectures.Our client is a well-established organization GCC within the Logistics domain .As a medium-sized GCC company, they focus on providing cutting-edge technology solutions to their global clientele.
