Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HVAC Design Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional expertise in VRF (Variable Refrigerant Flow) designing and a proven ability to effectively manage a team of 10 or more design engineers. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design team in developing innovative HVAC solutions, with a primary focus on VRF systems. Manage and oversee all aspects of the design process, from concept development to final implementation. Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations in all design projects. Collaborate closely with other departments, including engineering, sales, and project management, to deliver comprehensive solutions that meet client requirements. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to design engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development. Drive efficiency and productivity improvements within the design department, implementing best practices and streamlining processes where necessary. Act as a liaison between the design team and clients, addressing any technical inquiries or concerns to ensure customer satisfaction. Stay updated on emerging trends, technologies, and advancements in HVAC design, incorporating relevant innovations into our offerings. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred. Minimum of 12+ years of experience in HVAC design, with a focus on VRF systems. Proven track record of successfully managing a team of design engineers in a fast-paced environment. Strong technical proficiency in HVAC design software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, LatsCAD, Revit, etc.). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
