- Contribute to India L&I Manufacturing Revenue and business growth
- Responsible for focused business development activity dedicatedly for Manufacturing Sector (Indian and Global Corporates) across India
- Identify new business opportunities, target markets, and growing industry segments to expand the client base and increase market coverage
- Establish strong relationships with prospective manufacturing client’s leadership teams and constantly follow up with them for all real estate needs. Should be able to communicate and correspond with senior executives, industry leaders and decision makers (CEOs, CXOs, and Promoters etc.)
- Identifying and mapping business strengths and occupiers needs by Identifying potential transactions (leasing/ expansion/relocation /consolidation, investments / divestment opportunities).
- Researching manufacturing industry trends and business opportunities and be instrumental in providing market intelligence about growing companies
- Be the catalyst of JLL Manufacturing Services within organisation and externally with client
- Demonstrate strong business development activities through networking, industry forums /conferences/seminars.
- Regularly participate and partner with corporate events organised by industry and trade organisations, consulates, and other foreign trade promotion counsels.
- Organise roadshows across the industrial clusters in India and abroad
- Establish strong connects with Industries / State Industrial Promotion Bodies, Occupiers and Developers, India entry consultants.
- Ensuring optimum client service delivery and engagement - calls, meetings, site visits, presentations, follow up, accurate & timely submission of company proposals to prospective clientele and overall governance during the execution phase
- Formulate communication strategy and execute in coordination with the team
- Leverage existing and new relationships with Corporates and Developers particularly focusing on sourcing potential transactions and consulting opportunities.
- Preparation of marketing materials such as presentations, proposals with support of the team.
- Develop and execute parallel strategies for business development for responsible geography.
- Assess client requirements, initiate & maintain client interactions, provide inputs on pricing, strategizing and participate in proposal discussions.
- MBA with 4 to 5+ years of experience in sales and marketing, Investment banking, Client Servicing, Sales in Banking and Financial Services, Transaction Services (Real estate sector experience will be preferred)
- Position is based out of Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore and hence geographical familiarity of Mumbai / Chennai is expected
- Strong number crunching and analytical skills – proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint is a prerequisite to this position
- Work together with the India Head of Manufacturing Services to deliver the Business Plan and Operating Plan in line with corporate/ country guidelines
- Business Development, Transaction Advisory, Financial Modelling, Presentation, Business Development and Negotiation skills and abilities
- Ability to work in matrix organizations with extremely high collaboration skills
- Excellent Communication & inter personal skills. Strong analytical, negotiation & logical financial skills with the ability to adapt to change.
