
Lead QA Engineer

- Design and develop test frameworks, automate tests in JAVA and maintain existing internal QA tools
- Design test plans and test cases based on functional and design specifications focusing on specific user stories including test cases for regression of current products
- Participate in an Agile-based development / testing environment, including reviews, testcases/document reviews and planning activities
- Participate in functional and non-functional test activities including system, stress, longevity and endurance testing
- Implement test cases/suites in using tools like Cypress, Selenium, TestNG and JUnit
- Good hands-on with Linux/Unix Operating System
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment
- Collaborate with engineers / peers to solve complex problems to deliver end-to-end quality in our technology and customer experience
- Assist customers and field engineers with troubleshooting issues
- Work with the engineering team in an Agile environment in delivering high quality products
- Organize own tasks and take responsibility for progress and completion
- Experience leading a Testing / Quality Assurance team - responsible for testing full embedded software stack within a high-volume data-driven software organization
- Experience creating an excellent testing & quality engineering process and organization with an understanding of Hardware and Software development cycles
- Experience with the implementation of different testing methodologies and test automation tools and techniques
- Experience in software and product certifications
- Experience of working with different Cloud based applications
- Solid knowledge of testing techniques to determine the appropriate number of test iterations and apply risk-based testing concepts
- 5-8 years of relevant professional experience
- BE /B Tech. or equivalent educational background
