The role anticipates internal and external Vodafone business challenges and regulatory issues, recommending solutions through new Citrix and AVD processes, products and services it defines by itself. Utilizing the most advanced technical background on Citrix /AVD and surrounding technologies, the role solves unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on the business of Vodafone markets running Citrix applicationsRoles and Responsibilities:
  • To be accountable leading Operation and delivery teams, achieving milestones and objectives on new Citrix and AVD platforms and designs
  • To operate the Citrix and AVD platforms completely autonomously and with broad latitude in a complex and changing environment with frequent exposure to brand and revenue impacting incidents
  • To lead, train and mentor the external and Internal resources, as well as even most experienced colleagues, as their best practice and senior support contact
  • To contribute to the development of the Citrix strategy in line with cost, service availability and KPI targets
Core competencies, knowledge and experience:
  • Leading knowledge on Cloud & enterprise IT
  • Excellent read/write/speak capabilities in English
  • Degree in IT (any) or 10 years of experience in enterprise IT, Cloud and Citrix services
Leading knowledge on Citrix & AVD service technologies and products on all past, current and future versions as well as their Vodafone specific implementationsMust have technical/professional qualifications:
  • At least 10 years of operational and design experience with all Citrix services and Citrix products (Netscaler, Storefront, XML, XenApp, XenDesktop, Citrix Cloud, Azure AVD)
  • Excellent knowledge of ITIL best practices as well as SOX and UAM security
