Job Description :Job Title: Universal Locomotive Driver / Freight Train Operator – Rail CargoLocation: Austria (Candidate must be willing to relocate to Austria)Industry: Rail / Transportation / LogisticsEmployment Type: Full-TimeExperience Required: Minimum 2 YearsJob Summary:We are seeking an experienced Locomotive Driver to join our railway operations team in Germany.Key Responsibilities:Conduct pre-operation checks on locomotives, including safety equipment and documentationVerify completeness and validity of required documents and train dataPerform brake tests and ensure all systems are operational prior to departureOperate locomotives during train, shunting, and special operations in compliance with regulatory standardsTroubleshoot mechanical and operational issues as per instructionsCarry out routine inspections and report any defects or damagesAssist in securing cargo and managing coupling/uncoupling proceduresPerform shunting operations and prepare locomotives for train journeysProvide customer service during operations and support passenger or freight handling as neededSalary: 4000000-4500000 LPARequirements
Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a Locomotive Driver
Age limit: 21-40 years
Valid driver’s license and relevant operational certifications
Strong attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and ability to work under pressure
