As a Business Analyst at ICON, you will analyze activity performance, develop accurate reporting tools, ensure consistent project reporting, conduct cost/benefit analyses, and drive continuous improvement efforts across the organization by collaborating with various departments.Job Location: Chennai ( Hybrid Role)What You Will Be Doing:Key Responsibilities:Requirements Gathering: Facilitating workshops, eliciting, documenting business requirements, and translating them into functional specifications.System Analysis: Analyzing existing systems, identifying gaps, and proposing solutions to meet business needs.Documentation: Creating and maintaining various documents, including user stories, functional specifications, and test scripts.Testing Support: Supporting system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and ensuring the quality of deliverables.Stakeholder Management: Collaborating with business and technical teams, communicating effectively, and managing stakeholder expectations.Process Improvement: Identifying opportunities for process optimization and contributing to process improvements.Required Skills and Experience:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills: Ability to analyze complex business problems and propose effective solutions.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Experience with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum): Ability to work effectively in an Agile environment, including sprint planning and user story development.Knowledge of SDLC and STLC: Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and Software Testing Life Cycle.Familiarity with relevant tools and technologies: Depending on the specific role, this may include tools for requirements management, testing, and project management.Experience in the relevant industry: Experience in areas like Healthcare and Life Science, can be highly valuableYour Profile:Bachelor’s degree in business administration or equivalentOverall Business Analysis experience of 2 to 5 yearsA demonstrable experience in producing high quality and detailed written documents. This could be within a professional or academic environment.Strong organizational skills, including time management, ability to multi-task and prioritize workload (against continuous deadlines and new assignments).Excellent interpersonal skills, developing relationships throughout ICON functions, obtaining relevant information for responses and documentation.Ability to work cross-functionally with various IWhat ICON can offer you:
