Data & Analytics Specialist: Power BI, SQL & AutomationWe are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Data & Analytics Specialist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing insightful business intelligence solutions, automating data workflows, and managing robust database systems. This role is perfect for a data enthusiast who is passionate about transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive business decisions.Key Responsibilities
Business Intelligence & Visualization: Design, develop, and maintain interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports using Power BI. You will translate complex data sets into clear and concise visualizations that provide actionable insights for stakeholders across the organization.
ETL & Data Pipeline Development: Take ownership of the entire ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) process. This includes designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines to integrate data from various sources into our data warehouse.
Database Management & SQL Mastery: Demonstrate expertise in SQL and PostgreSQL to write complex, efficient, and low-latency queries for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis. You will be responsible for database performance tuning and optimization.
Process Automation: Utilize Power Automate to design and implement automated workflows, streamlining data-related processes and improving operational efficiency.
Data Modeling & Analysis: Develop and implement data models to support business intelligence initiatives. Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.
Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with business users, data engineers, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions. You will be expected to clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Required Qualifications
Proven Experience: A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, along with proven experience in a similar data-focused role.
Power BI Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in Power BI, including a strong understanding of DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and data modeling best practices.
ETL Expertise: Hands-on experience with ETL tools and a deep understanding of data warehousing concepts.
Advanced SQL Skills: In-depth knowledge of SQL, with a focus on writing high-performance, low-latency queries. Experience with PostgreSQL is essential. While SQL" certification is required, a demonstrable ability to write efficient code is paramount.
Power Automate Knowledge: Experience in creating and managing automated workflows using Microsoft Power Automate.
Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with large and complex datasets.
Excellent Communication: Strong 1 verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders. 2
