Key Responsibilities: Conceptualization and Design: Develop innovative and appealing design concepts for furniture, home decor, and general merchandise. Create detailed sketches, renderings, and 3D models to communicate design ideas. Trend Analysis: Stay informed about current design trends, materials, and technologies in the furniture and home decor industry. Incorporate market trends into product designs to maintain a competitive edge. Material Selection: Research and select appropriate materials based on aesthetics, functionality, and cost considerations. Collaborate with suppliers to source high-quality and sustainable materials. Prototyping and Testing: Oversee the development of prototypes for new product designs. Conduct testing and gather feedback to refine and improve prototypes. Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams: Work closely with the sales, marketing, and production teams to ensure alignment with business goals. A minimum of 6-8 years of relevant experience in a trading company as a 3D Designer, specializing in Hard Goods and Soft Goods. Proven experience as a product designer, preferably in the furniture and home decor industry. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools. Strong knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and industry trends. Excellent communication skills (Verbal and Written) and the ability to interact effectively in English Understanding of various materials, like Metal, Wood, MDF, Stone, Concrete, Textiles, Plastics, Seagrass & Natural Rattan.
