Design Engineer Gearbox (Mechanical)Designation – Design Engineer – GB DesignQualifications: B.E in mechanical engineeringExp. : 3 to 7 mentioned but we can stretch up to 10 years provided if he fits to the budgetBudget : 12 LPA , slightly 1-2 Lakhs we can extend depends on seniority and experienceLocation : PuneDepartment: Electro MechanicsPosition Summary:The candidate will work in a global context environment, on local and global programs, closely with release teams and other functional groups; he/she will take care of Gear box Modelling & Drafting from concept layout phase to SOP, proactively recognize any possible issues and develop solutions to meet performance objectives and timelines of various programs.Key Responsibilities:Responsible for creating Specification, Drawing & Bill of Material of Gearbox Components.Responsible for Design Modelling & Drafting related to product/project of geared motorsResponsible for timely delivery of Engineering outputs in accordance with established schedules.Co-ordination with Cross Functional Team as per the requirement of ProjectWork according to design codes and software tools assignedDesign & Optimization of casting partsParticipate in Functional testing of prototype of geared motorsActive participation in localization & VA/VEReview various documents, drawings received from suppliers & give comments or acceptance when required.Skills:Must haveExpert knowledge of ISO / DIN norm and methodology for calculating the load capacity.Experience in design of Gearbox, transmission and / or powertrainStrong Mechanical Design fundamentals.Hands-on expertise in design software like Romax, KISS Soft.Experience in Simens NX – UnigraphicsHaving experience in any PLM/ERP, SAP, Team Centre systemGood communications – written and spoken EnglishGood to haveWorking experience of Industrial Gearbox / geared Motor IndustrySpeaking/understanding German languageExperience of working in a global cross functional team
