A develops, implements, and monitors detailed production schedules to optimize resources, minimize downtime, and ensure timely delivery of fabricated products. They coordinate with procurement, engineering, and shop floor teams, managing raw material inventory and aligning production with customer demand.Key Responsibilities
  • Production Scheduling: Create and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules, balancing shop capacity with order demand.
  • Material Control: Plan and release raw material requirements to procurement, tracking availability to prevent shortages.
  • Capacity Planning: Monitor shop floor productivity and machine utilization to optimize manufacturing processes and reduce waste.
  • Coordination: Act as the central liaison between sales, engineering, purchasing, and production teams to ensure smooth workflows.
  • Reporting: Prepare MIS reports on production performance, inventory status, and machine efficiency for management.
  • Problem-Solving: Resolve bottlenecks and technical issues that impede production progress.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Operations Management.
  • Experience: Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in
