AVEVA is creating software trusted by over 90% of leading industrial companies.Job Title: IT GRC Junior AnalystLocation: Hyderabad, IndiaEmployment Type: Full-time / RegularThe jobThe IT GRC Junior Analyst supports AVEVA’s internal control certification activities under PCAOB/SOX. This role operates within the first line of defence and is responsible for validating IT General Control (ITGC) documentation, tracking audit evidence, and ensuring timely readiness of compliance deliverables. This role should ensure that documentation meets required standards across AVEVA’s business-critical systems.Key responsibilitiesValidate ITGC evidence across access, change, and operational control areas using QA checklistsSupport control owners in preparing audit-ready documentation, ensuring clarity and completenessMaintain centralized repositories and trackers (e.g. SharePoint, Teams) to ensure document version controlIdentify documentation gaps and inconsistencies, escalating to the Senior Manager where necessaryParticipate in audit walkthroughs and help prepare supporting documentationAssist in user access reviews, control testing activities, and incident log validationsContribute to QA training guides, awareness material, and document templatesSupport coordination with second-line (Risk & Control) and third-line (Internal Audit) teamsEssential requirements4–6 years of experience in IT audit, GRC, or internal control environmentsFoundational knowledge of PCAOB/SOX, ISO 27001, or equivalent frameworksProficient in Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, and TeamsExperience handling ITGC evidence across enterprise platformsStrong communication skills with attention to documentation qualityAbility to manage deliverables across multiple systems and teamsDesired skillsExposure to enterprise systems such as Oracle, SAP, Salesforce, or WorkdayFamiliarity with ServiceNow or audit workflow toolsUnderstanding of user access governance and change enablementExperience supporting external auditors or formal IT assurance reviewsAwareness of regulatory topics including GDPR or data retentionExperience with Riskonnect, SAP GRC, or similar governance, risk, and compliance toolsExperience working in a Big 4 firm (e.g., Deloitte, EY, KPMG, PwC)CompetenciesEvidence quality and documentation disciplineAttention to detail and process controlProactive stakeholder communicationTeam collaboration and support mindsetAccountability for timelines and compliance outcomesStructured problem solving with audit awarenessIT at AVEVAOur global team of 300+ IT professionals is responsible for the systems and platforms that keep AVEVA running.
