With revenues of over $35 billion and industry-leading investments in technology and R&D, we empower our people to build important contributions that improve lives around the world.Discover Impactful Work:As a Data Quality and Testing Analyst within the Global IT Reporting and DATASCAPE program, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and integrity of data that drives IT decision-making across the enterprise. You will work closely with Power BI developers, data engineers, and customers to validate data sources, test analytics outputs, and define quality assurance practices that scale.This role is crucial in helping our team deliver trusted insights, maintain reporting standards, and promote data-driven decisions in support of our corporate infrastructure and strategic goals.A Day in the Life:
  • Collaborate with report developers and data owners to understand data flows, business rules, and report logic.
  • Design and implement test cases to validate data transformations, calculations, and visualizations within Power BI dashboards and underlying data models.
  • Monitor data refresh processes, identify anomalies, and work with technical teams to resolve issues proactively.
  • Develop and maintain a framework for automated and manual data validation, audit tracking, and regression testing.
  • Perform root cause analysis of data quality issues and work with data engineering or source system teams to address them.
  • Ensure alignment with data governance standards, metadata definitions, and enterprise data quality metrics.
  • Document test results, issues, resolution steps, and quality improvement opportunities in a structured, repeatable way.
  • Help drive a quality-first approach across the reporting and analytics lifecycle, in sync with reusable processes and tools.
  • Support continuous improvement by recommending ways to automate validation workflows or integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines.
Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Engineering, or related field. Equivalent experience accepted.
Experience, Skills & Abilities:
  • demonstrated ability in data validation, quality assurance, or testing within a business intelligence, analytics, or reporting environment.
  • Experience with Power BI, including familiarity with DAX, Power Query (M), and visual design principles.
  • Strong SQL skills and the ability to independently investigate data across multiple sources.
  • Experience in writing test plans, documenting test cases, and performing functional or regression testing.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts, ETL workflows, and data lineage tracking.
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks or scripting tools (e.g., Excel macros, Power Automate, Python, or similar).
  • Diligent with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, especially in documenting findings and collaborating multi-functionally.
  • Self-starter with a growth mindset and eagerness to improve data accuracy and customer trust in reporting outputs.
