SQE’s play a major role in implementing the PPAP process with global supplier base.How you’ll make an impact Follow the PPAP procedure, implement the Production Part Approval Process gate model during the Part qualificationEnsure that the assigned PPAP demands are fulfilled with accuracyLead, manage, execute and complete the part qualification at the suppliers for the identified parts / projects with right quality on timeCollaborate with key stake holders like GPS, R&D, TC, SCM category managers, Buyers to get the inputs and drive the part qualificationWork closely with the Global / Regional Supply Quality teams, Third party supplier quality Engineers and suppliers on the part qualificationOrganize Internal kick-off meetings and supplier kick-off meetingsProgress on the PPAP’s in full alignment with stakeholdersRegularize the PPAP’s in the PLM system and SAP Reiwa systemAct as a project Manager to complete the PPAP’s to meet business needsUpdate the necessary inputs so that the performance can be seen in the dashboardsResolve conflicts proactively and if needed escalate, seek help from leadership or Management to ensure progress is on trackSupport in establishing required communication & training materialBe a team player and to collaborate without silos.Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.Living Hitachi Energy’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.Your backgroundBachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering / production engineering7 to 10 years of Experience in Power Grid, Automotive, Aerospace or any manufacturing industryCertified Welding Inspector / Engineer.
