  • Extensive experience in design and development of medium to large steel structures (3 years of relevant experience in Wind Industry Preferable).
  • Experience in equipment/tools for Lifting, transportation, preassembly, and installation of wind turbine components/assemblies will be added advantage.
  • Well exposure in concepts development of new product development along with extensive experience in bolted and welded structures.
  • Well versed with structural calculations with extensive knowledge in EURO codes and DNV standards.
  • Experience in Developing of new products within product development life cycle process framework.
  • Well versed within stake holder management along with cross team collaboration.
  • Has ownership of the design on a given structures and mandate that support technical decisions and offer suggestions to overcome challenges.
  • Well versed in communication and capable of keeping all stakeholders and interface owners in same page.
  • Focusing in CAPEX and OPEX of Equipment development and bringing optimal products to the projects.
  • Acts as a bridge across different platforms of New product development, execution and operational engineering.
  • Having control on deliverables across modules and the critical quality approval authority for all deliverables across module.
  • Well versed with CAD tools, FEM tools, PLM tools like Siemens Nx, Ansys, MathCAD, Team center.
  • Good Understanding of DFMEA & Design Risk assessments.
  • In nature should be Self-motivated, Self-driven, open to speak and always works with ownership.
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for technology from concept designs to out-phasing of products. Technically support on definitions of products, components, and subsystems to be used and their concrete characteristics.​
  • Act with technical mandate in early concepts to ensure technology roadmap has EN approval within given module. ​
  • Responsible for implementing the lessons learned process in new projects. This includes findings from site, execution projects, maintenance and Development process extracted from “Lessons Learned Portal”.
  • Accountable for engineering the different solutions for transport, lifting and installation of the module to satisfy the requirements of the customer. Responsibility is with the projects. ​
  • Accountable for the quality of project deliveries within the module. Lack of quality in deliveries must be addressed with team leads and actions of improvements must be created on team level.​
  • Supporting S&E and OEN team on demand.​
  • Responsible for module related items for Platform Scope list towards platform. ​
  • Ownership of Interface Control Documents (ICD’s) and approval authority. Noncompliance of ICD’s must be agreed with Module Lead Engineers. ICDs performed by Solution owners.
  • Participation in early discussion on need for new equipment​.
  • Provide input for business case (e.g. harbour layouts, estimated weight/cost) through sales support.
  • Identify need for new equipment and scoping features for new equipment​.
  • Initial cost estimates with Value Engineer and Procurement after concept development.​
  • Develop product road map on equipment for particular module in collaboration with Equipment Product Owner​.
  • Mapping product KPI’s and setting targets for future KPI’s together with cost managers​.
  • Identify potential technology projects and Cost-out projects Detailed​.
  • Support projects with technical advice and offer suggestions to overcome challenges.
Qualifications:
  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Mechanical / Civil / Structural Engineering with 12+ years of experience.
