Accounting TraineeJob DescriptionMain Purpose of Role:Support the goals of the General Accounting team through the accurate and timely delivery of routine accounting activities and assigned projects in alignment with Kimberly-Clark’s internal control policies, procedures and guidelines.Role Accountabilities:Perform routine accounting activities including journal entries, account reconciliations, and other month-end close activitiesAct as liaison between Kimberly-Clark and all third party auditors by providing transaction support, handling inquires, and communicating policies, procedures and guidelinesEnsure consistent application of established corporate financial controlsMaintain process documentation and policies to ensure accuracy, effectiveness, and reliability of established financial controlsIdentify, recommend, and participate in the implementation of process transformation opportunitiesActively participate in special projects that meet the needs of customers and/or enhance efficiencies and streamline department processes and proceduresFunctional/Business skillsMicrosoft Office applicationsExperience with SAP or other ERP systems preferredEssential Knowledge / ExperienceBachelor’s degree in finance or accountingDemonstrated strong oral and written communication skills; attention to detailAbility to work through challenging situations or complex problems to achieve goalDemonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects, including providing stakeholder updates and communicationsAbility to collaborate effectively with a diverse set of colleagues, customers, and stakeholdersAbility to identify and action opportunities for continuous improvementSome accounting experience preferredPrimary Location Pune Kharadi HubAdditional LocationsWorker Type EmployeeWorker Sub-Type Fixed Term (Fixed Term)Time Type Full time
