- Assist in integrating gender-responsive approaches into program activities and operations.
- Support reviews of classroom practices, community environment, and learning materials through a gender lens.
- Provide logistical and administrative support for gender-related initiatives.
- Collect and maintain gender-disaggregated data from programs.
- Support preparation of trackers, dashboards, and reports on gender action plan progress.
Capacity Building & Communication
- Coordinate workshops, sensitisation sessions, and training on gender equity.
- Develop documentation, case studies, and awareness materials to highlight gender integration.
- Support communication of gender work internally and externally.
- Liaise with internal teams to gather inputs for gender-related projects.
- Support coordination with external consultants, partners, and government stakeholders.
- Assist in tracking project deliverables, budgets, and timelines.
- Ensure smooth execution of activities under the Gender Policy and Action Plan.
- Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Gender Studies, Social Sciences, International Development, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Work Experience: We value both professional and personal experience. Candidates with 4-6 years of relevant experience in project management, with specific exposure to gender mainstreaming, social inclusion, or equity-focused programs. Additionally, a strong understanding of gender concepts, frameworks, and tools which apply to government entities and familiarity with the Indian education system is highly desirable.
- Soft Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (and local language, if applicable). Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build trust and influence across diverse groups. Proactive, reliable, collaborative and willingness to learn.
