Position: Plant Manager Location: Ahmedabad Experience: 8+ years in manufacturing management Job Overview As the Plant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire manufacturing process within our laminates production facility. Responsibilities Operational Leadership: Direct and supervise day-to-day manufacturing operations, including production scheduling, quality control, inventory management, and maintenance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes, minimize downtime, and maximize overall plant efficiency. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve product quality. Team Management Lead and inspire a team of supervisors, operators, and technicians to achieve production goals while maintaining a safe and positive work environment. Provide guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to team members. Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and open communication. Quality Assurance Ensure that all products meet quality standards and customer specifications. Implement and maintain quality control processes and protocols to guarantee consistent product excellence. Health And Safety Prioritize employee safety by enforcing strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in manufacturing management, with a proven track record of successfully leading manufacturing teams. Strong technical knowledge of laminates manufacturing processes and equipment. Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills. Proficiency in implementing Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies. Ability to make data-driven decisions, analyze production metrics, and drive performance improvements.
