You will play a pivotal role in shaping how learning experiences are communicated, promoted, and embraced across the organization to drive adoption. This role is responsible for creating and executing strategies to promote learning and development initiatives, manage change, increase employee engagement, and ensure effective communication across the organization. You will work in a dynamic team of learning design professionals, supporting a wide range of programs that span both corporate and restaurant audiences globally, such as Leadership Development, Inclusion, Onboarding, Restaurant Curriculum, Corporate Development, Engagement, or Operations. This role requires collaboration, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality learning experiences at scale while working with L&D teams and stakeholders. This role is ideal for a strategic communicator and creative marketer who thrives in a fast-paced, matrixed environment and is passionate about driving engagement through compelling storytelling, branding, and stakeholder collaboration.The candidate is expected to reside in India.Responsibilities:In addition to following McDonalds policies and procedures, principal accountabilities include, but are not limited to:Communications:
  • Create stakeholder maps and user personas to understand all the impacted audiences for a program or initiative
  • Create and implement comprehensive communication and campaign strategies to promote L&D initiatives and programs and bring stakeholders along on the journey throughout the program lifecycle (e.g., pre-launch, launch, and post-launch)
  • Craft clear, concise, consistent, and engaging messaging aligned with McDonalds and Hamburger University brand and culture
  • Collaborate with leadership, HR, and other stakeholders to ensure communication aligns with organizational goals and is relatable to many cultures and translatable into many languages
  • Ensure all output is visually engaging and digestible to the target audience
Marketing:
  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns to drive adoption and engagement in L&D programs and initiatives throughout the program lifecycle (e.g., pre-launch, launch, and post-launch)
  • Create engaging content such as emails, newsletters, and posts for social media, and more to market learning initiatives, including live or virtual learning events, webinars, workshops, games, simulations, etc. to encourage registrations and engagement with the content
Employee Engagement:
  • Develop strategies to increase employee interest and engagement in L&D programs
  • Leverage course and platform evaluations to identify employee needs and perceptions of learning at McDonalds
  • Monitor engagement metrics and adjust strategies based on data insights.
  • Facilitate feedback loops with stakeholders to continuously improve communication and engagement effectiveness.
Qualifications:
  • 4-7 years of experience and a Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience in marketing, internal communications, external communications, campaign management, or related field
  • Experience working in Communications or Marketing
  • Experience operating in large, multi-national corporations in a highly matrixed, complex structure
  • Experience working across many countries and cultures and creating content for different cultures
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
  • Knowledge of communications, marketing, social media trends, regulations, and best practices
  • Exceptional communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills; strong storytelling skills
  • Strong business acumen
