Key Responsibilities:Training and Mentoring:Upskilling front-end staff on optometry standards and best practices, including sales pitches, dispensing guidance, and customer query handling.Customer Experience:Delivering exceptional customer service and leading by example in driving key business metrics.Quality Control:Maintaining eye test quality and dispensing standards throughout the cluster.Store Operations:Working as a store optometrist during busy hours or covering shifts.Performance:Monitoring and improving the performance of store staff, including eye test and dispensing performance.Skills and Qualifications:Optometry Expertise:A strong foundation in optometry, including knowledge of eye exams, dispensing, and troubleshooting.Retail Experience:Experience in an optical retail environment, including sales, customer service, and dispensing.Leadership and Mentoring Skills:Ability to coach and mentor other optometrists and front-end staff.Communication and Interpersonal Skills:Strong ability to communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and management.Problem-solving and Analytical Skills:Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues related to eye tests and dispensing.
