We provide our customers with powerful digital solutions, helping them to research the biggest problems facing the world today.About the Role:-As a Senior Data Analyst, you will design, build, and maintain Tableau dashboards that provide insight into Elsevier’s IT and multi-cloud infrastructure estate and operational performance. You will partner with stakeholders across Technology, from operational teams to senior leadership, to translate reporting needs into effective, user-centric dashboards.Reporting areas include cloud efficiency (for example, AWS resource usage and optimization), software asset insights, and other operational performance metrics. You will develop and maintain data models using dbt to provide transparency and clarity into business metrics.Responsibilities:-Design and deliver intuitive Tableau dashboards with a strong focus on user experience, accessibility, and visual clarityTranslate complex datasets into clear narratives and actionable insights for operational teams and senior stakeholdersLead analytics initiatives end-to-end: discovery, requirements, iterative development, validation, release, maintenance, and user supportManage senior stakeholder relationships, communicating insights, recommendations, and technical issues clearly and effectivelyFacilitate requirements workshops and translate needs into well-defined user storiesContinuously improve dashboards based on user feedback, usage insights, and performance optimizationPerform data profiling, cleansing, preparation, and modelling to produce analysis-ready datasetsDevelop and maintain data models using dbt to provide transparency and clarity into business metricsRequirements:-Strong Tableau expertise, with a portfolio demonstrating high-quality dashboard design and user-centric thinkingExperience in a data analytics, BI, or reporting role delivering insights into operational or business performanceProven experience working with large, complex datasets, including data profiling and cleansingAdvanced SQL skills for querying large datasets and developing complex reportsExperience with relational databases (preferably Snowflake)Experience with dbtFamiliarity with AWS or equivalent cloud technologiesCuriosity and a strong drive to innovate, including experimenting with new techniques and approaches to improve insight quality and deliveryExcellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical audiences at all levelsStrong written communication skills, including clear documentation of definitions, logic, and dashboard guidanceKnowledge of Python is a plus.Work in a way that works for you: -We promote a healthy work/life balance across the organization.
