Strong QA foundation

Demonstrated experience in functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing for enterprise or complex systems. * Automation mindsetExperience designing or contributing to test automation frameworks, with sound judgment on when automation versus manual testing adds the most value. * Quality engineering approachAbility to think beyond test execution-early defect prevention, risk-based testing, test strategy, and continuous improvement. * Cross-functional collaborationProven ability to work closely with developers, business analysts, and other QAs to deliver high-quality outcomes. * Communication & ownershipClear written and verbal communication, with strong accountability for quality outcomes.2. 3. A Day in the Life Typically Includes

Leading test planning, execution, and validation for complex features, enhancements, and integrations
Designing and maintaining manual and automated test cases with strong traceability to requirements
Collaborating with Developers and Business Analysts to clarify acceptance criteria and ensure early defect detection
Executing functional, regression, exploratory, and integration tests across multiple environments
Triaging defects, documenting findings clearly, and supporting root-cause analysis
Integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to improve release reliability and reduce manual effort
Improving QA processes through metrics, retrospectives, and continuous feedback loops

4. Basic Qualifications

4+ years of hands-on experience in software QA, including both manual and automated testing
Strong ability to analyze requirements and translate them into high-quality, traceable test cases
Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Zephyr or equivalent)
Experience with automation frameworks or tools (e.g., Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, API testing tools)
Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and CI/CD practices
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and drive quality in fast-paced delivery environments

5. Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

Experience with enterprise-scale products or data-intensive platforms
Familiarity with cloud environments (e.g., AWS) and modern DevOps pipelines
Exposure to performance and/or security testing
Working knowledge of SQL, API testing, or scripting languages used in automation
ISTQB, CSTE, or similar QA certification
