Define KPIs for the team and ensure continuous performance improvement. Foster a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and ethical procurement. Vendor Management: Establish and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers. Lead supplier selection, onboarding, evaluation, and audits. Negotiate contracts, prices, and terms to maximize value. Operational Excellence: Ensure timely procurement to support uninterrupted production and operations. Streamline procurement processes using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/MS Dynamics etc.). Monitor market trends and commodity prices for risk mitigation. Compliance & Governance: Ensure procurement practices comply with internal policies and legal requirements. Develop and enforce SOPs, documentation standards, and audit controls. Work with internal audit and finance teams to maintain transparency.
