Position:Production Engineer ( Paint Shop)Location:Zaroli near by VapiExperience: 2 - 4 YearsIndustries: AutomobileResponsibilities:
  • Supervise day-to-day Paint Shop production activities.
  • Ensure proper surface preparation, pre-treatment, primer, base coat, and top coat application.
  • Monitor paint parameters such as viscosity, thickness (DFT), temperature, and curing time.
  • Control defects like orange peel, sagging, pinholes, blistering, and dust particles.
  • Maintain production efficiency and achieve daily/monthly targets.
  • Reduce paint consumption and optimize material usage.
  • Coordinate with Quality & Maintenance teams for process improvement.
  • Handle manpower planning and shift management.
  • Implement 5S, Kaizen, and Lean manufacturing practices.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental norms.
  • Maintain production reports and documentation.
Required Skills
  • Knowledge of Automotive Paint Shop processes (Liquid Painting / Powder Coating).
  • Understanding of Conveyor systems, Spray guns, Paint booths, Ovens, and Pretreatment lines.
  • Familiarity with TPM, OEE, and root cause analysis.
