- Install and configure medical equipment at customer sites (e.g., hospitals, labs).
- Ensure systems are calibrated and functioning per manufacturer specifications.
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Maintain service logs and documentation for compliance.
- Diagnose technical issues remotely or onsite.
- Perform repairs or arrange for replacement parts as needed.
- Provide technical support and training to healthcare professionals and biomedical engineers.
- Build strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction.
- Adhere to regulatory standards
- Complete service reports, regulatory paperwork support, and maintain service records.
- Work with senior engineers or technical support teams to resolve complex issues.
- Provide feedback to R&D or product teams for product improvements.
- Manage spare parts and tools inventory.
- Ensure timely delivery and return of components.
- Follow all health, safety, and infection control protocols.
- Ensure devices meet quality and performance standards before leaving the site.
- Provides on-site technical support during the installation, implementation and maintenance of company products.
- Ensures adequate records and systems are maintained.
- Schedules personnel responding to critical situations to ensure that client's needs have been met and that the product/solution is fully functioning according to specification.
- Maintains communication with design management and specialists in resolving technical problems and/or bringing problems to the design department’s attention.
- May provide follow-up support to company sales staff and customer personnel by disseminating technical information on specific applications.
- Carries sales or service quota, generates service fees from clients with or without maintenance contract.
