- Directing regional sales & business development to deliver coverage, distribution and display objectives as per the business plan.
- Setting brand/pack sales targets and breaking them down geographically into daily/weekly/monthly plans.
- Co-ordinating sales territories and optimizing GT channel execution across grocers, convenience stores, eateries, bakeries, transport hubs, and entertainment outlets.
- Building capability by implementing a training calendar and ensuring thorough induction for all sales team members.
- Partnering with marketing to execute brand/activation calendars as per ASP.
- Analyzing secondary sales to control inventory, forecasting sales/stock accurately, and aligning with logistics.
- Reviewing financials with accounts to achieve budgeted topline and profitability; reporting progress weekly/monthly/quarterly/annually.
- 12 - 15 years of FMCG experience with 10+ years supervisory and 5+ years in middle management.
- MBA preferred (or graduate with strong track record).
- Proven team leadership in coverage/mass distribution and territory management.
- Deep knowledge of local FMCG market dynamics and traditional trade.
- Mandatory background: FMCG foods or beverages only (shortlisting is restricted to this industry).
- High ownership to shape GT strategy, distribution design, and sales capability.
- Senior leadership visibility with a clear path to larger P&L responsibility.
- Strong performance-linked rewards in a fast-scaling category.
