You'll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.You'll play a critical role in defining the architecture and functionalities of TC&IS subsystems, such as PACIS, CCTV, Radio, Internet on Board, and Train Ground Communication, ensuring seamless integration into the train. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (Train System Engineers, RAMS Engineers, Validation Engineers, and Interior Engineers), oversee supplier selection, and manage requirement specifications, and much more.You'll specifically take care of delivering subsystem documentation, including Requirement Specifications and Architecture Descriptions (RSAD), Technical Purchase Specifications (TPS), and Interface Control Documents (ICD), but also support sourcing and supplier collaboration.We'll look to you for:
  • Defining and implementing functional, performance, transverse, and train-level requirements for dedicated subsystems
  • Ensuring mechanical and electrical integration of the subsystem into the train
  • Defining and managing subsystem interfaces
  • Conducting subsystem verification, including design reviews
  • Managing change and configuration processes at the train level
  • Planning and following up on all subsystem-related activities
  • Providing technical support to sourcing teams, suppliers, and engineering teams

  • Degree in engineering or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience working with TC&IS subsystems in the rail industry
  • Strong understanding of system engineering processes and methodologies (e.g., SysML)
  • Experience in customer handling, supplier management, and system integration (mechanical and electrical) on trains
  • Hands-on experience with testing and commissioning activities
  • Fluency in English
  • Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills
