Working days/time: Mon-Friday (9am to 6pm) Key Responsibilities: Shopify Development: Collaborate with the project team to design, develop, and maintain Shopify-based e-commerce websites, ensuring they meet the clients requirements and industry best practices. Theme Customization: Customize Shopify themes and templates to create unique and visually appealing online stores that align with the clients branding and design guidelines. App Integration: Integrate and configure Shopify apps and plugins to enhance the functionality and features of e-commerce websites. Front-End Development: Develop responsive and user-friendly front-end interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to provide an exceptional user experience. Back-End Development: Implement custom features, functionalities, and backend processes using Shopifys Liquid programming language. Quality Assurance: Perform rigorous testing to identify and resolve any bugs, issues, or discrepancies in the e-commerce websites. Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize website performance, including page load times, SEO, and mobile responsiveness, to ensure optimal user experience. Security: Implement security best practices to safeguard e-commerce websites and customer data. Documentation: Maintain clear and organized documentation of the development process, codebase, and configurations. Nice to have: Proven experience in developing custom apps and plugins to fulfil business requirements. Working knowledge of AJAX API, Meta fields, and other objects/properties within Shopify. Proven experience of 2-6 years in developing Shopify e-commerce websites. Proficiency in Shopify theme customization, Liquid programming language, and Shopifys API. Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive web design. Experience with Shopify app integration and configuration. Knowledge of e-commerce best practices, SEO, and performance optimization. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team, with strong problem-solving skills.
