We’re a strong team that looks out for each other.Your role:The Trainee - Compliance will support the Company Secretary in ensuring the organization’s compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. This role offers hands-on experience in corporate governance, legal compliance, and board administration, providing a strong foundation for a career in company secretarial practice.What would you do at Khatabook?
  • Organize and coordinate Board meetings, Annual General Meetings (AGMs), and other statutory meetings.
  • Drafting resolutions, POAs, Authorization Letters.
  • Draft agenda, minutes, and resolutions of Board and Committee meetings.
  • Maintain and Update statutory registers, records, and filing of returns with ROC/MCA.
  • Filings E-Forms with MCA
  • Coordination required for the purpose of Statutory Audit.
  • Conduct research on legal, regulatory, and corporate governance matters as directed.
  • Support the preparation of reports and documentation for audits and inspections..
What are we looking for?
  • Semi-qualified Company Secretary with good reading and interpretation skills
  • Understanding of corporate laws and regulations (or willingness to learn).
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Prior internship or experience in a legal, compliance, or corporate secretarial role is an advantage but not mandatory.
