We believe in fairness and choose to be honest, transparent and authentic in everything we do.Key Responsibilities:Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero-harm behaviors to support our drive toward developing a world-class safety culture.Design and develop the Slurry Valve product line for Minerals.Collaborating with the Global product managers, Technology Groups, Sales, and cross-functional teams from Factory on projects related to new product development (NPD), value analysis/value engineering (VA/VE), sustenance engineering, and performance analysis.Should have hands-on experience with the New product development process.Should have an advanced level of expertise in NX and Teamcenter.Analyze existing product designs, Develop Product functional analysis, and identify areas of improvement.Product standardization and enhancements to the existing products.Strong knowledge of Design aspects, analytical calculations, and Valve standards.Supporting Product stewardship implementation & Technical documentation.Experience and exposure to basic lean techniques.Innovations - Patent filingEnsure that Environmental, Health and Safety, engineering, and quality standards and procedures are adhered.Knowledge of CE certification (PED, Machinery, GOST, CRN, etc.) and IMS standards like ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001.Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:Education :BE /M Tech in Mechanical Engineering.Experience:8-12 years’ experience in Valve Product design.Experience in NX and Teamcenter- Advanced Level.Experience in New product development and stage gate process.Experience in Value engineering and Value analysis.Experience in FEA – Static structuralExperience in Analytical calculation and hands-on with Valve Standard.Extensive knowledge of GD & T, DFMEA/PFMEA-Advance LevelFounded in 1871, Weir is a world leading engineering business with a purpose to make mining operations smarter, more efficient and sustainable.
