Job Description:Senior Structural Engineer to join WSP India with extensive knowledge & experience in geotechnical design and supervision of building projects in middle east. Achieve successful co-ordination between disciplines and manage the Quality Assurance system for the project. Manage, direct and supervise direct reports to satisfy the time and quality targets, whilst meeting or exceeding Clients’ expectations. Mentoring the junior team membersTo be capable of undertaking the following but not limited to:
1. Review of soil/ground investigation reports, geotechnical design, ground improvement, sub-grade CBR assessment, slope stability, shoring design, piling design, foundation design, dewatering design
2. Review of Structural design- Concrete and Steel
3. Review of technical submittals such as shop drawings, material submittals and method statements
4. Review and respond the technical submittals within the time frames based on project requirements.
5. Monitor maintenance of QA documentation and associated registers.
6. Deal with the day-to-day queries/RFI from the Site Team, ensuring that relevant information is available on time for construction activity.
7. Design coordination with other disciplines to ensure constructability.
8. Ensure that Soil/Structural tests and inspections are performed, witnessed, and documented in accordance with Quality Management System.Department:70311 - iCRC - P&B Supervision, MESkills Required:ETABS, SAFE, Concrete Buildings, Steel Structures, Revit, BIM, AutoCAD, familiar with BS and American standards, Microsoft applications, particularly word and excel.Years Of Exp:7 to 10 YearsDesirable Skills:Effective communication, work independently, ability to work collaboratively, knowledge of BIM/Rivet/ Navisworks.
