The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable API solutions, ensuring secure and efficient integration across systems, and supporting enterprise-level digital transformation initiatives.Roles & ResponsibilitiesAPI Design & DevelopmentDesign, develop, and manage REST-based API proxies using Apigee X.Define and implement API security, traffic management, analytics, and monitoring policies.Ensure high availability, scalability, and fault tolerance of API services.Apigee X Architecture & NetworkArchitect and configure Apigee X network components, including hybrid/cloud setups.Define and enforce governance standards for API lifecycle management.Collaborate with solution architects to design end-to-end API integration strategies.Cloud Engineering & MigrationLead migration of APIs from legacy systems or Apigee Edge to Apigee X on GCP.Work closely with cloud engineering teams to optimize network, security, and infrastructure.Leverage GCP services for seamless integration with Apigee X.CI/CD & DevOps EnablementImplement CI/CD pipelines for automated API deployment and testing.Ensure compliance with DevOps and cloud security best practices.Collaborate with development teams for continuous integration and delivery improvements.Skills & QualificationsStrong hands-on experience in Apigee X design and implementation.Expertise in REST-based API proxy development.Solid knowledge of Apigee X network and architecture.Experience with GCP, CI/CD pipelines, cloud migration, and engineering practices.Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and documentation skills.
