Our people make us who we are, and we create incredible products and experiences that empower us to THINK OUTSIDE.JOB SUMMARY:The IT Systems Engineer role is responsible for the Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft Active Directory, and VMWare environments which includes designing, implementing, and supporting these core infrastructure services. This individual will serve as the “Ansible” Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the team, utilizing their expertise in Ansible to drive automation of team owned processes and tasks.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Design, implement, and maintain Ansible YAML templates to automate tasks and processes in a Microsoft, Red Hat, and VMware ecosystem.Utilize Ansible Tower for centralized management, logging, role-based access control, and workflow automation.Monitor automation processes ensuring their reliability and efficiency.Stay in-sync with platform changes refactoring templates and plugins as necessary.Collaborate with cross-functional teams on identifying opportunities for automation, gathering requirements, and analyzing findings to design complex workflows.Drive automation of infrastructure tasks and processes through self-service using Service-Now and Infrastructure-as-Code.Assess complex projects with a variety of requirements quickly, correctly prioritize tasks, provide accurate time estimates, and complete tasks in a timely manner while communicating changes and updates.Develop standards and technical documentation to support Level 1 and 2 staff.Adhere to and promote existing ITIL processes and change management procedures.Stay current with new and evolving technologies via formal training and self-directed education.SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EDUCATION:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, related technical field, or equivalent practical working experience.3+ years developing automation through Ansible templates and playbooks.1+ years administering or supporting Ansible Tower / Ansible Automation Platform.Strong technical knowledge of PowerShell, YAML and RESTful API is required.Technical understanding of Windows, Linux, and Cloud environments is required.Experience architecting, administering, or supporting global Microsoft Windows Active Directory networks including Hybrid (Azure AD), Directory Services, DNS, DHCP, DFS, GPO and Security is desired but not required.Professional certification in Microsoft, Red Hat, AWS or Azure is desired but not required.Ability to work effectively in a team environment, as well as work independently with limited supervision.Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with the IT organization, management, and business personnel.WORKING CONDITIONS:Standard office environmentSupport hours: UK & US HoursTravel requirements: NoOn-call Support: NoWe are an ambitious, resourceful, and driven workforce, which empowers us to THINK OUTSIDE.
